| FAQ - Items | | | This section contains questions people ask us a lot. It will continue to be updated
whenever we receive new questions.
Items
Question: How do you use items?
Answer: Items can be used in many ways, but they all have one thing in common: You use
them by clicking on their icon. Some items will even pop a small menu with options.
Sometimes items can be used in an event. Say you have a bottle of ketchup
and in an event you meet an Italian guy who's all out of ketchup! Well, that might be a
moment for you to try clicking your ketchup icon!
NOTE: Just try using items and observe how others use them. Heck, you might even find out a
secret use for an item which no one has ever discovered! Good times!
Question: What about the new interface?
Answer: In the new interface, using an item in an event will now display an item icon
in the event-screen. This means you can use that item in the current event. For instance,
if you're near the Catapult, a small Hand Grenade-icon might be displayed in the event.
Click the icon to launch the Hand Grenade with the Catapult.
Question: I clicked my item and it disappeared. Why? :'(
Answer: When you click your item and it could not be used at that moment, some text
will display in the chat like:"
SexySarah loves her lava lamp.
This simply means the item can not be used at this precise moment. However, to avoid people
spamming the chat by clicking their items there is also a chance you'll break or lose the
item:
SexySarah broke her lava lamp.
So you see: experimenting with items comes at a cost. But if your item can indeed be used...
priceless!
Question: How can I combine items?
Answer: You can use the "combine items"-button for that. Above your inventory, there's
a button with a hammer + potion. Click the button and you'll automaticly see which items you
can combine.
Question: Is there a cooldown on items?
Answer: Indeed. There is a 1 second cooldown on items.
Question: I received some skills or abilities, but they seem to be items?!
Answer: Skills go in your inventory and are used just like items. It's simply
because we were too lazy to implement it in a new fancy way. The game will often think of them
as items. Skills and abilities can often be used multiple times, but have a cooldown of a
certain amount of turns.
Question: I entered a shop, but some items were 'out of stock'. What's that about?
Answer: Shops won't sell any items you have in your inventory when you enter the shop.
Any item you buy in the shop will be out of stock during the event. Items become available again
in a new turn as long as you don't have them in your inventory still.
Question: Is there a maximum of items I can have in my inventory?
Answer: There used to be a maximum of 30 items, but with the new interface this is no longer
the case. Unlimited items for everyone!
Question: Help, I can't see all of my items even though I can see my inventory!
Answer: Are you sure you didn't accidentally turn on the inventory filter? There are 3 buttons
above the inventory, showing "All", "Objects" and "Skills". Make sure "All" is selected.
