Question: How do you use items?
Answer: Items can be used in many ways, but they all have one thing in common: You use
them by clicking on their icon. Some items will even pop a small menu with options.
Sometimes items can be used in an event. Say you have a bottle of ketchup and in an event you
meet an Italian guy who's all out of ketchup! Well, that might be a moment for you to try
clicking your ketchup icon!
NOTE: Just try using items and observe how others use them. Heck, you might even find out a
secret use for an item which no one has ever discovered! Good times!
Question: I clicked my item and it disappeared. Why? :'(
Answer: When you click your item and it could not be used at that moment, some text
will display in the chat like:"
SexySarah loves her lava lamp.
This simply means the item can not be used at this precise moment. However, to avoid people
spamming the chat by clicking their items there is also a chance you'll break or lose the
item:
SexySarah broke her lava lamp.
So you see: experimenting with items comes at a cost. But if your item can indeed be used...
priceless!
Question: How does 'Combine Items' work?
Answer: When you press the 'Combine Items' button in your inventory, a screen will
show with 3 horizonal rows:
- Your items.
- Items you want to combine. (Max. 4)
- The result.
Click on the icons in row 1 to add them to row 2. Click on items in row 2 to put them back
in row 1. When you have selected a few items (two, three or four) in row 2 that you want to
combine you can press the 'Combine Items' button between row 2 and 3. After what should be a
split second, you will either get a result or not. If the combination works, you will see the
result in row 3 and there will be a notification in the chat like this:
SexySarah successfully combined her bucket of lava and her lamp to
create a lava lamp!
However, if the combination failed, an item might get lost in the process.
Question: Is there a cooldown on items?
Answer: Indeed. There is a 2 second cooldown on items.
Question: I received some skills or abilities, but they seem to be items?!
Answer: Skills go in your inventory and are used just like items. It's simply
because we were too lazy to implement it in a new fancy way. The game will think of them
as items. Skills and abilities can often be used multiple times, but have a cooldown of a
certain amount of turns.
Note: in this FAQ we use the male forms to indicate players out of simplicity, but we are
well aware that there are also girls playing this game. Sorry, feminists!
