    • The new Donation Thermometer is up! This month's theme is Valentine! Five new items are on the Thermometer and a new class: the Alchemist. We hope you like the new goals and donate to help Board Game Online get more awesome. :)
    • If two Paladins knock each other unconscious with their autohammer, they will now become incapacitated.
    • The Assassinate skill has been slightly tweaked. If an assassination is unsuccesful, the targeted player will now become incapacitated for 1 turn.

    • The Pawn Shop has been activated! Go to this shop to sell the items you don't need, or buy some cheap items. The Pawn Shop has also been added to Wildcard: Shops.     • The Magic Star has been added to the game! Consume it to feel like a plumber on acid who's squashing mushroom monsters!
    • Players can now only be affected by one Disease Cloud each game round. This means that in games with more than one Necromancer, players will receive no more than one stack of Evil Disease each round.
    • The Pacman Skill rewards have been slightly tweaked.

    • Effects should no longer trigger when they are removed at the same time by another effect. For instance, players could die of AIDS in the same turn in which their Guardian had already removed it. This should no longer happen.

    • The Shield has been activated! This item can be bought in the Medieval Market and passively protects players from Swords and Bow and Arrows.

    • The server is sometimes experiencing periods of extreme lag or downtime. It is advised to just stay in your game and wait. Games should not break because of the lag, even if it takes several minutes. We are looking into these issues.

    • There appears to be a bug concerning reincarnated players not recieving animal events. Please use the "Report a bug" button ingame if this issue occurs, so we can further investigate it.

    • The site couldn't be reached for a few hours. Our server host had completely died and most of their webpages (including their own) were unavailable. We hope this is over now and we will kick our host's butt. Update: Some issues seem to persist. If you know of people who can't seem to reach the site, please let us know on our Facebook page. We hope the issues will be resolved asap.
    • Update: Server finally seems to be running as it should. Let's get some games started! :)

    • The order in which events take priority when an item is used has been changed. If a player uses a gun first, and a potion later, he will get the gun event first, and the potion event later. Note: Some events always take priority over other events, like the Bear, and events can also be postponed when a player is dead or skips a turn.
    • Merchants now also make 1 Rupee per turn when they're dead with their Banking effect.

    • The amount of Rupees a player earns when eating another player with the Pacman skill has been slightly reduced.
    • Players can no longer go back from rolling dice, even if a player has more negative speed than he rolls. This change has been made in preparation for the new Death Event.

    • The mechanics for giving and receiving Festive Presents have been changed. If a player receives a present while in the process of sending a present, the present that is being received will be lost. This means that players will never lose a present that they are trying to send to another player.

      The Hypno Glasses now cost 30 Rupees down from 35.
    • Teams can now correctly win in All For One games when one of the team members has found the Pharaoh's treasure.

    • While rolling out the changes for the new item Snowballs, the game became unable to start for about 30 minutes. Thank you for the bugreports, it has been fixed!
    • Weather forecast for tomorrow: it looks like it's gonna snow! So grab your mittens and pick some snowballs so you can have a big snowball fight! The Pick Snowballs skill and Snowballs have been added to the game! Small note: it's not yet possible to trade or steal Snowballs.

    • Fixed a bug where a summoned Guardian would sometimes resurrect the wrong player.
    • We have received multiple bug reports from people complaining about their chat repeating. Could players who are suffering from this problem please post more information on the forums? We have made a topic on the Bugs forum for this issue.
    • You can no longer send PETA away by using Divine Blessing.
    • The Pixie has been added to the game. The Pixie is a new very rare event where a magical Pixie flies around from player to player. The Pixie has 20 charges before it flies away.
    • Dark Wand: Mark for Death has been added to the game. This was the last Donation Goal for November!
    • The Mining Pick mechanism has been changed slightly, so it will no longer interrupt your event. The places where you can mine have also changed.

    • A bug caused a kill with a gun to be credited to the victim, not the shooter. This resulted in wrong stats at the end of the game and caused Blessing of Vengeance to both rezz and kill the blessed victim. This bug has been fixed. Thanks for the reports!

    • The Magic Shop has been revamped and is now run by the evil witch instead of some nice wizard. In Expert Mode, there will now be 3 rare spells for sale in addition to the 3 basic ones.
    • Dark Wand: Burden now costs 8 Rupees instead of 14, but only transfers magic effects.
    • The spell interface for wands has been improved.

    • The bug with the Score Screen not showing at the end of a game has been fixed. (edit: and fixed again, hopefully for real now!)
    • The Score Screen now also displays the space the players finished on. In addition, the players are ordered by finish space.
    • Questions should no longer hide behind the Effect flags. This caused problems for players with smaller screens.

    • The Game Ending Screen has been changed and will now include a Score Overview of all the players and their kills, deaths and suicides.
    • A nasty bug with the spell Dark Wand: Burden has been fixed. Effects will now correctly transfer from player to player.

    • Some small adjustments have been made to the lag-preventing system, hopefully resulting in less people being thrown in jail or events skipping a screen.

    • We are incredibly proud to announce the release of the amazing Pocket Ball! After weeks of intense work it is finally finished and by far the biggest thing we have ever created. We thank the community for unlocking this brilliant new addition to the game. There is a new event similar to Hypno Hax which gives every player a Pocket Ball. Keep an eye out for it! Now go forth and... catch 'em all!

    • We have implemented a hotfix that hopefully fixed the problem where sometimes an Undefined player would be in the game. If this still happens, please submit a bug report!
    • Some server tweaks greatly increased the speed of our scripts. Reinforcements could take quite some seconds for the game to perform, but thanks to the improvements it all runs smoothly once again. We'll keep a close eye on game performance in the future, because games had become laggier than usual.
    • The Priest has been adjusted to not be blatantly overpowered in Team Mode. The cooldown of Resurrect is now 7, up from 3. The cooldown of Dispel Magic is now 7, up from 4.
