it's ridiculously hard to come by and it doesn't work when you're dead (which is pretty common in an ffa) and you only move one space
It's very powerful in games with lots of people. If you have Super Coffee or its components, try to save it for when you've got a fresh Space Capacitor and Pogo Stick. Or when someone's about to enter the Pyramid. To be most effective, drink it right after you have your upkeep phase.
It doesn't work while dead? I thought it did.

Anyway, you just need to think about stuff that moves people a lot. Curse of relativity. Evil disease. Space cap. Plus anyone who enters the pyramid or uses a pogo. I've seen someone win once by twitching over the finish due to someone else moving a bunch in the pyramid.

How useful it is will vary a lot from game to game. It's not an item that is always a great idea to make. But sometimes it can be used to great effect.
Do you even realize how many times people move in the span of one turn? It happens so often that you probably don't even think about some of the actions or events that make players move. It's extremely good. And of course it works for your own movements at well; that's what normal coffee does.

Super Coffee used to work when you were dead, but it was removed for being too good (or maybe just for making too little sense, but I prefer thinking of the former).

Yes it does.
then the description of the status effect is wrong and needs to be fixed!

super coffee does seem pretty good, but it's probably due to my being a priestess that i don't see much reason to use it (considering how rare coffee itself can be) when i can be sprinting with cocaine

Imagine how this sentence would sound out of context to someone unfamiliar with BGO.
